Description
The school christened after- the philosopher, social reformer and above all the patriotic saint of India – Swami Vivekananda is situated on a hillock located in the remote hamlet of Palemed in the eastern part of the Malappuram District in Kerala. The school, which had a humble beginning, was founded in the year 1963 as a Lower Primary. It was upgraded as an Upper Primary School in 1967 and as a High School in 1984. It was elevated as a Higher Secondary School with one batch in 1991 and the inauguration of the course was made by the then Industries Minister of Kerala Sri.P K Kunhalikutty..
