Description
Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Chowk Pragdas, Amritsar was established under the aegis of Chief Khalsa Diwan on August 18, 1987. The aim of the school is to impart comprehensive education to enable students to attain their optimum potential. Every effort is made to encourage independence of thought and action, to inculcate self-confidence, and to make them grow up as right-thinking individuals and ideal citizens. The spiritual growth of students is looked after by inculcating in them the true spirit of Sikh traditions. Sikh history and Gurbani are a part of the school curriculum. Gurudwara Sahib is also there in the school which is fully air-conditioned. Gurpurabs are also celebrated in the school with great devotion.
