Description
St. Peter's Hr. Sec. School, Chhingchhip is a Catholoic Institution managed by the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, Province of Northeast India. It is affiliated to Mizoram Board of School Education. The school was founded in the year 1962 by the Holy Cross Missionaries. The Bishop of Silchar Rt. Rev. Denzil D'Souza handed over the school to the Montfort Brothers in the year 1978. In 1996 the school was raised to Higher Secondary in Science and in the year 2000 opened for Arts streams. Now both Science and Arts streams are offered in the school.
