Sugam, a registered non-profit and non-governmental organization, is dedicated to providing quality education and holistic development opportunities to underprivileged children. Our journey began in 2011 with very humble beginnings in a small urban village, home to 15000 migrant workers around Moti Vihar, South City 1, Gurgaon. Founder, Ms. Monika Sharma was troubled seeing so many migrant children roaming the streets of the village rag picking, working as helpers in small shops or just playing with trash. It was her earnest desire to change the lives of these children and she soon realized that this cannot be done without bringing education and literacy to each of these families.
