The Khaitan family finds its roots in Ramgarh village of Rajasthan. Our forefathers were the first ones from a Marwari community to have completed Matriculation in the 1800s. Our founders Shri Kali Prasad Khaitan was not only the first Marwari Barrister but also the Advocate General of West Bengal and Shri Devi Prasad Khaitan was a member of the drafting Committee of the Constitution of India headed by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. The Khaitan School, established in 1995, with over 3600 students, 200 plus staff members and a huge alumni network of 1400 plus members; continues to uphold our founders’ vision to provide holistic education to our students.
