Yavatmal Public School is managed and run by Shri. Jawaharlal Darda Education Society Yavatmal. It was a vision of the famous freedom fighter- Shri. J.L Darda to enlighten this tribal area and provide all facilities to the students of Yavatmal. This is the first private unaided CBSE co-educational English medium school in the district of Yavatmal. It was established in April 2006. The school started in the present premises with 279 students from classes I to V. Now the school has grown up to a full fledged tree with classes from pre-primary to XII, which is fully recognized by CBSE. The present strength is about 1400 students.
